Monochrome mondays

Tuesday, July 28, 2015 Unknown 0 Comments

Let's just say I posted this on Monday because procrastination is real.

Whoever said long skirts aren't summer friendly (Okay it was seriously really hot) But no pain no gain right? I need to start dressing for the summer before going back to winter weather and wanting to wear shorts (and freeze my butt off) - which I technically won't mind if it'll melt off some extra fats (forever bulking, yes, I'm aware).

Long skirts are definitely a staple for now and it can be paired for all seasons. Benefits: it hides your wobbly parts, dresses up your outfit, and it's not restrictive so you can be free and swing around acting like a princess (and looking more like a monkey in reality)

Anyway I digressed, speaking of seasons - During colder days it can be paired with sweaters. For nights out (like dates, maybe) look dressy with heels and a blouse. For a more sporty or effortless chic look, it can be paired with a tshirt and shoes (something everyone has - even for shamelessly unfit humans like me). During warmer days, I would wear it with a crop top or a blouse like below. (Not as bright and colourful, but it was a Monday, cut me some slack)

Looking far too happy swinging around, and back to primary school days hairstyle. (Just without the furry scrunchie)

I'm wearing forever 21 top, Bimba y Lola skirt, Chanel backpack

The best kind of nights

Saturday, July 25, 2015 Unknown 0 Comments

There comes a point where everything just becomes too much and you lose yourself as life gets in the way. Sometimes even pretending gets tiring and you just want to stop thinking, even for a second. Here's to the nights of dancing around like the world is on hold and nothing really matters till tomorrow. As though you're back to being a kid, back to being carefree. Something light, breezy and bright for those humid summer nights.

Tokyo Bust Express

Monday, July 20, 2015 Unknown 0 Comments

Never have i known that boobs needed so much care until Michelle suggested we try out for the gift promotion that Tokyo Bust is having. I have always thought that if things like that do work, everyone would be perfect. But i'm so happy that I actually gave it a shot (better with a friend along to laugh off your problems). The staff are all so friendly and helpful in finding the solutions for your concerns and giving tips along the way to care for the health of your bust (yeh, they're like little friends you have to care for too). The treatments were non-invasive and natural, and fully explained beforehand. The award winning Detox-Me massage was definitely worth the title. The difference was significant and immediate (to my surprise).

Go win a free gift pack worth $288:
Follow @tokyobustexpress for more information before the promotion ends
(Kit comes with firming serum, bust-care serum and a 200 cash voucher)

If you are looking to sign on for more treatments, they have a special student program (50% off full price), which might only be for this month (i think). How else better than to leave the care of your little friends to professionals? Problems stemming from size, shape, and even pesky armpit flab (the one that makes you look like you have 4 boobs) can be solved, of course the earlier the better.

Looking forward to spending more time with my girl and going for treatments. More updates after the next few treatments, but honestly feeling the difference already.

Boufe Boutique Cafe

Saturday, July 18, 2015 Unknown 0 Comments

It's always so tough to have to choose a place to hang out in Singapore among the increasing number of cafes popping up all over, so i'm really glad that I found Boufe. It has such a good atmosphere to just unwind and get away from the crowds and noise, while still being within the city area. On a typical Saturday (which I somehow kept thinking was a Sunday), I had a great tea date with my babe, Michelle. If you ever find yourself in town and wanting a quiet place to clear your thoughts or catch up with friends, definitely check Boufe out. Before pigging out, don't forget to drop by Ohvola (I think they have the prettiest dresses)

 truffle fries (of course)

Something new

Sunday, July 12, 2015 Unknown 0 Comments

Finding the courage to start something new is always difficult. The fear of not being good enough, of not being able to succeed, and never having enough time are excuses to procrastinate. Only we can hold ourselves back from doing the things we want to do, it's a matter of choice. Many times we let life get in the way, we let the fear of judgement and failure get to our heads, and so we don't even take the first step.
Nothing good comes easy. Call it human nature, but we often don't appreciate the things given to us. Only when we work for it do we realize its true value. I count myself lucky, to have the dearest people who I can call at ungodly hours to save my sorry butt, who listen and rant along with me about life, and stick it out with me even after seeing me at my worst.
Sometimes its easier not to think too much and just go with it. There will always be people who will kill to watch you burn. Its not a reason to stop going for what you want anyway. So Im taking a step to do something I've wanted to do but never had the courage to start. Whats the worst that could come out of it anyway? Every step, no matter how small, will still be an experience and something to learn from, and besides, the toughest journeys will always be the most memorable.
